Before use, five principles should be followed: one to wear, two to wear, three to choose, four to check, five to try.

Wear: Wear safety helmet correctly.

Wear: Wear intact gloves and steel toe safety shoes if necessary.

Selection: Select the appropriate specifications of the crane, select the appropriate ingredients frame of the hook and sling.

Inspection: Before starting, carefully check whether all mechanical equipment, electrical parts and protective devices are in good condition and reliable. If the main accessories such as controller, brake, limiter and emergency switch fail, lifting is strictly prohibited.

1) Check whether there are abnormal phenomena in all parts of the crane, especially the connection of the main beam. Check whether the running mechanism of track and carriage beam is complete and free of mechanical damage. If there is any abnormality, it is not allowed to be used;

2) The stopper on the track shall be free of deformation, damage, looseness and defects;

3) The wheel tread and wheel rim shall be free of obvious wear and scars. Check the wheels for cracks, indentations and wear exceeding the limit. If the depth of the above defects exceeds 3mm, they should be replaced immediately;

4) Wire rope inspection: whether the wire rope is normally wound on the drum. The wire rope shall be free of kinks, the small roller shall be installed and fixed well, the wire rope shall be free of burns, obvious loose strands, serious wear, corrosion and defects, the number of broken wires shall not exceed the standard, and the whole strand shall not be broken. When the wire rope is broken up to 19 wires within one lay length, and the surface of the wire rope is obviously worn, it shall be replaced immediately;

5) The hook is free of cracks or deformation, the bearing is flexible and smooth in rotation, and the hook nut locking device is in good condition; the connecting parts of the hook are free of cracks or deformation, and the connection is good; the sling is free of serious wear and broken strands;

6) The rotation of the pulley shall be stable and flexible, the wheel groove shall be free of obvious wear, and the wheel flange shall be complete and free of defects;

7) The insulation resistance of the electrical equipment system is qualified (z0.5MQ), and there is reliable protective grounding (zero);

8) The control box and control line shall be kept intact without damage or fracture;

9) Operators should carefully check the above items before use. If they cannot check the items by themselves, they should find relevant maintenance personnel to check on their behalf.

If any fault problem is found in the above inspections, the relevant maintenance personnel shall be informed in time, and the crane can be used for operation only after the fault problem is solved or qualified lifting equipment is replaced.

Test: In the case of no load, turn on the power supply and start. And check the operating mechanism, control system and safety device, check and adjust the electric hoist brake, should be sensitive, accurate, safe and reliable, can be used.

1) Whether the button can reliably control the hoist lifting and running;

2) Whether the action of the check is flexible and reliable, and the upper limit position is ≥ 50mm from the drum;

3) There is no abnormal sound or smell during operation;

4) The brake and control system have reliable function and sensitive action;

5) Button interlocking device has reliable function (I. e. press the opposite buttons at the same time and fail);

6) If any abnormality is found in the crane during the test run, the crane shall be stopped and the situation shall be reported to the maintenance personnel. The crane can only be used for work after the problem is solved and the operation is confirmed.
